3D Model Exercise 3 :Box Modeling

This model is inspired by the washbasin in the everyday bathroom.

First, add a new Cube to serve as the sink cabinet and adjust the proportions to achieve the desired size.

Next, add some details to the cabinet. Use the Loop Cut tool to create an outline on the cabinet door. Then, push the cabinet door slightly inward through the Extrude tool to create a groove effect.

Select the top surface of the cabinet and use the Extrude tool to pull the top surface slightly upward to a certain height, creating the thickness of the countertop. Then, use the Scale tool to adjust the size of the countertop, making it slightly wider than the cabinet to create the effect of an overhanging countertop.

The sink is based on a cube. Select the top surface, use the Scale tool to scale inward, and then use the Extrude tool to create a groove. The same applies to the mirror.

The door handle and faucet are based on a ring. Cut off half of the ring, then use the Mirror and Extrude tools to achieve the shapes of the faucet and door handle.

The switch and bottle are obtained by extruding a cylinder and a cube, respectively, and then using a ring cut to achieve the final products.

Finally, apply a ceramic material to the sink, and a metal material to the faucet, switch, and handle. The mirror has a standard material applied, with reduced roughness and increased metallicity and reflectivity to achieve the desired effect.

Add lighting and a camera, and then adjust them as needed to complete the final work.
